Abstract


Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence of leadership behavior and emotional intelligence on readiness for change and to determine the moderating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship between leadership behavior, emotional intelligence and readiness for change. Data was collected using emotional intelligence surveys and Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS SEM) was used. Research findings show that leadership behavior and emotional intelligence have a significant effect on employee readiness for change. More importantly, it confirms the moderating effect of organizational commitment. This study provides an empirical explanation of the combined effects of several important determinants of change management.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kesiapan terhadap perubahan dan untuk mengetahui efek moderasi komitmen organisasi terhadap hubungan antara perilaku kepemimpinan, kecerdasan emosional, dan kesiapan untuk berubah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan survkecerdasan emosional dan pemodelan persamaan struktural Partial Least Squares (PLS SEM) digunakan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku kepemimpinan dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan karyawan terhadap perubahan. Lebih penting lagi, hal ini menegaskan efek moderat dari komitmen organisasi. Studi ini memberikan penjelasan empiris mengenai efek gabungan dari beberapa faktor penentu manajemen perubahan yang penting.
